Today marks my fifth anniversary covering the world of Apple TV. I’ve seen the platform grow exponentially over the years, doing my very best to cover every twist and turn in the Apple TV story following the introduction of tvOS.
Screen Times has been quiet for some time. With the launch of my Apple TV podcast Magic Rays of Light a few months ago, I made a personal decision to take a moment of recalibration and refocus before returning to publishing on the site once again.
Today is the start of that new chapter with a new focus on bite sized content choc full of Apple TV news, reviews and opinion, together with features and editorialised written versions of the podcasts interview series.
Today also marks the introduction of Screen Times Contributing Editor Jonathan Reed. Jonathan is an exceptional London based writer with a deep passion for Apple, film and animation. I’ve been a fan of Jonathan’s writing at smallbites for some time and knew from our very first Apple TV conversation that we had to collaborate. To have him come onboard full time means the absolute world to me and I have no doubt that you will also enjoy his unique perspective and exceptional taste.
We have a lot of exciting changes planned for the coming months including a shift to easier content discovery, interviews, reviews and fresh perspectives on Apple TV as the tale end of the year is set to once again redefine how we interact with the biggest screen in our homes.
Thank you for sticking with the site during the short hiatus and we look forward to sharing many screen times ahead.
