Bruce Gets The Band Back Together in the New Trailer for Letter to You

Apple has posted a new trailer on the Apple TV YouTube channel for its upcoming documentary film 'Bruce Springsteen's Letter To You'.

Directed by Thom Zimny, the documentary will release on Apple TV+ to coincide with the new album from Bruce on October 23rd. It is the first album recorded live in the studio with The E Street Band since 'Born To Run' 35 years ago. Bruce also recently got turned into an emoji on Twitter to mark the occasion.

I can't wait.

From Apple:
“Bruce Springsteen’s Letter to You” captures Bruce Springsteen recording his new album “Letter To You” live with the full E Street Band, and includes final take performances of 10 originals from the new record. The feature-length vérité documentary features full performances from the E Street Band, in-studio footage, never-before-seen archival material, and a deeper look into “Letter To You” from Springsteen himself. Written by Springsteen and directed by his frequent collaborator Thom Zimny, the film is a tribute to the E Street Band, to rock music itself, and to the role it has played in Springsteen's life.

Apple TV+ Secure International Rights to Israel-Iran Thriller 'Tehran'

Apple TV+ Secure International Rights to Israel-Iran Thriller 'Tehran'

Apple TV+ have secured the international rights to Israel-Iran espionage thriller 'Tehran' according to a report published today by Deadline.

The eight part limited series comes from writer Moshe Zonder (Netflix's 'Fauda') in which a Mossad computer-hacking agent is hunted in her hometown of Tehran. Finding refuge amongst a group of regime-opposing secular Iranians, she becomes romantically involved with a pro-democracy activist.

The deal between Apple and Cineflix Rights follows in the footsteps of other successful Iranian imports 'False Flag' on Hulu, 'Srugim' on Amazon and 'Shtisel' on Netflix.

Shot mostly in Hebrew and Farsi, 'Tehran' is likely to be the first fully subtitled series available on Apple's streaming service. The Thriller - to be re-cut with Apple co-producing - began airing earlier this year through Iranian broadcaster Kan 11 and stars 'Homeland' alum Shaun Toub and Navid Negahban alongside rising talent Niv Sultan.

Apple TV+ continues to beat-out competition from Netflix and Amazon for content. 'Tehran' follows a successful month for the streaming service with the capture of Tom Hanks WWII epic 'Greyhound' and upcoming projects from Brian Lazarte, James Lee Hernández and Martin Scorsese.

‘See’ Honored with The Ruderman Seal of Approval for Authentic Representation

‘See’ Honored with The Ruderman Seal of Approval for Authentic Representation

The Ruderman Family Foundation has included Apple TV original 'See' amongst those honored with its “Seal of Authentic Representation.” The honor recognizes films and television series that demonstrate a commitment toward inclusiveness in popular culture.

Cast members Bree Klauser and Marilee Talkington are both legally blind and play characters in a series set in a dystopian future where sight is nothing more than a herecy, until twins Haniwa and Kofun are born.

The groundbreaking series had an extra-focus on realism, thanks to the projects associate producer and blindness consultant Joseph A. Strechay who advised on everything from the shows writing and performances to on set inclusivity.

Season one of Apple original 'See' is now available to stream. Season 2 will reportedly resume production in the coming weeks.
