In the lead up to the launch of its upcoming streaming service, Apple continue to secure high-profile content deals for Apple TV+. Variety report the latest deal to be inked will see Gordon-Levitt write, star, direct and executive produce a teacher dramedy given the tentative title ‘Mr. Corman’.

The project sees Gordon-Levitt’s first regular role in a scripted television series since leaving hit show ‘3rd Rock from the Sun’ in 2001. Not much is yet known about the Apple original which centres around ‘Mr. Corman’, an elementary school teacher in the San Fernando Valley coming to grips with adulthood.
The project is yet another A24 project in production for Apple, this time in-conjunction with Gordon-Levitt’s HitRecord.

Apple TV+ will reportedly launch this November with more details expected to be unveiled by the company at its special event at the Steve Jobs Theatre on September 10th.
