Update May 22nd:

Apple have now shared an official press release for the upcoming series.

Original May 20th article:

According to the Apple TV Press site, romantic-drama-comedy series "Little Voice" has an official release date of July 10th, 2020. While it's likely that this information was published earlier than planned, this release confirmation marks the completion of Apple's original slate of content announced onstage at last years media event.

Apple's description of "Little Voice" is as follows:

A love letter to the diverse musicality of New York, “Little Voice" explores the universal journey of finding your authentic voice in your early 20s. Sara Bareilles (“Waitress”) will provide original music for this fresh, intensely romantic tale of the search to find your true voice … and then the courage to use it.

"Little Voice" is a J.J. Abrams Bad Robot Production in association with Warner Bros. Television, executive produced by J.J. Abrams, Sara Bareilles, Jessie Nelson and Ben Stephensen.

The show - which will consist of ten half-hour episodes -  shares its name with Sara Bareilles's debut 2007 album - the inspiration for the project - and will revolve around new original music written by the Grammy Award winning singer-songwriter.

More information is expected shortly, along with key-art and an official trailer.
